L3S possesses cross-disciplinary expertise in signals, signals & AI, AI in 1D, 2D and 3D that can be innovatively applied and transferred to various fields:

ü  L3S works towards a convergence of signals and systems by developing tools for a wide range of user-oriented applications, while adding an extra dimension, that of statistics, which accentuates the power of the hybrid tools developed.

ü  This enables the design, the development, and the performance analysis of transversal algorithms in statistical 1D-signal processing and 2D/3D-image processing as in systems analysis, including a real-time approach to machine learning algorithms

The L3S offers the Research Master's degree in Information Processing and Complexity of Living (TICV), in double degree with the Research Master's degree in Computer Science-Vision and Intelligent Machines at the University of Paris Cité (France).

Types de partenariats recherchés :

Le L3S a un accès privilégié à un vivier de jeunes chercheurs issus de différentes disciplines scientifiques grâce au mastère de recherche TICV et vise à nouer des partenariats pour :

- le co-encadrement de stages de recherche en master sur des thématiques communes entreprise/L3S

- la codirection de thèses de doctorat Mobidoc ou autres dans des thématiques communes entreprise/L3S,

- la participation des industriels dans la formation du mastère TICV via des leçons, des ateliers et des séminaires

- le montage de projets avec des partenaires industriels : PRC, PRF, VRR, Horizon Europe, et autres
